We are a Broomfield-based day program for adults 18 years of age and older. We have daily scheduled activities including swimming, gymnastics, horseback riding, arts and crafts, field trips, weight training, and life skills activities.
F.R.I.E.N.D.S. On My Own
Do you know of an adult with developmental disabilities who is living at home or in a group situation who may be able to live more independently if given the opportunity?
Do you know of an adult with developmental disabilities who is living at home, doesn’t have a social life unless it is pre-arranged by someone else?
Do you worry about what will happen to your adult with developmental disabilities when you can no longer care for them?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then you may be interested in a new adult living program offering that has been developed and is ready to begin early in 2008.

Special Olympics:
F.R.I.E.N.D.S. created the first Broomfield Special Olympics Team in the Fall of 1998. Today Broomfield participates in almost every sport through Broomfield's Therapeutic Recreation Program. For more information about this program please contact Rachel Robbins by calling (303) 460-6924.

Rachel Robbins, our Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, offers a variety of programs year round for those of all ages with special needs through the city's recreation center.
