Winter Hubs

1/6/2017

We know that it is inconvenient when we do not provide transportation so we have come up with a solution!

During the winter when the roads are rough and it is difficult for our vehicles to get through the neighborhoods, we will be picking up at our new Transportation HUBS.

There are 4 different HUB locations. When the decision is made to pick up at transportation HUBS,  you receive a phone call from either Jen, Ashley, or Jodi stating that we are providing transportation for those who can get to one of the HUBS. Families and Caregivers will be notified of a HUB Transportation Day as early as 7 AM. When you receive your phone call, staff will be asking which location your participant will be picked up and dropped off at. If your participant is not attending program that day you can inform whoever calls you and the message will be relayed.
Pick Up and Drop Off

Know that the Pick up and Drop off windows are 20 minutes; if we arrive late, we will stay 20 minutes from our arrival time. If there are any major delays for any reason staff will contact families at the HUB location so that you are aware of the situation.

If you miss a Pick Up vehicle at the HUB, you can either continue on to another HUB location or bring your participant in to the facility. If you do not make it to one of our HUBS for afternoon Drop Off time within the 20 minute window, staff will call you to inform you that your participant will be transported back to the facility so you can pick them up there.
