FRIENDS received a grant from the City and County of Broomfield
Funding from the Broomfield Health and Human Services grant will benefit our Day, Residential, Social and Supported Employment programs by supplementing the cost of supplies, support and transportation. This support is critical to FRIENDS mission related work, and our goal of enhancing the lives of 50 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Broomfield community.
FRIENDS received a grant from the Broomfield Rotary
Our Friends at the Broomfield Rotary gifted us a $9,864 grant at the start of the year. This grant provides us with the opportunity to add both adaptive equipment and Ipads to our computer lab. With these additions all participants and be able to benefit from the computer lab.
FRIENDS recieved a grant from ALPS
FRIENDS received a grant from ALPS to provide weekly Physical Therapy/Purposeful Movement/Speech classes for the participants of the FRIENDS Day program. We work with Mann Method Physical Therapy & Fitness, PLLC because we align with the belief that regular physical activity allows our participants to be as strong and healthy as possible, so they can actively participate in all life has to offer.
