Meet Paige: FRIENDS’ New Residential Coordinator
We’re excited to welcome Paige Hollatz, our new Residential Manager, to FRIENDS! Paige brings experience in disability services, mental health, nonprofit work, and community-based support, and, most importantly, a passion for advocacy and creating meaningful connections.
We asked Paige to introduce herself and share a little about the experiences that brought her to FRIENDS.
Meet Paige
Hi! My name is Paige Hollatz, and I’m so excited to be joining the Residential team at FRIENDS!
I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota, where I focused on cognition. While I was in school, I started working as a Direct Care Provider in a group home just north of the Twin Cities, where I worked for about three years. I also spent summers working as PRN staff for an agency in Iowa and worked as a Mental Health Practitioner, providing in-home and community-based mental health and skills support to teenagers and adults with a history of addiction.
After moving to Colorado, I completed a year of service through the Urban Servant Corps. During that year, I worked full-time at two different nonprofits around Denver, primarily in homeless services. I got to do a little bit of everything—from running a food pantry and distributing clothing donations to helping lead an industrial kitchen that provided free meals, facilitating workshops, planning events, managing social media, providing case management, and plenty more!
Outside of work, I also enjoy teaching dance in my free time.
I’m really excited to be at FRIENDS and to get back to the roots of what has always been important to me: advocacy, community, and disability services. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and being part of the FRIENDS team!
