Kendra A. Amidon-Sanford

Board Director

Kendra A. Amidon-Sanford is a seasoned learning and development leader with more than 30 years of experience building high-performing teams, strengthening employee capability, and creating training programs that improve both quality and efficiency. She currently serves as Director of Learning and Development at Molina Healthcare, where she leads a large, team that trains non-clinical roles across a national managed care organization focused on serving financially vulnerable populations.

Kendra’s interest in serving FRIENDS of Broomfield is deeply personal. As the sister of a FRIENDS participant, she has seen firsthand the pride, confidence, and independence that can grow when individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have meaningful opportunities to learn, contribute, and be supported by their community. That personal connection fuels her commitment to helping FRIENDS remain strong, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of individuals and families.

In addition to her professional leadership, Kendra has a strong record of community engagement. She volunteered for many years with GO Team Therapy, Crisis, and Airport Dogs and served on the organization’s Board of Directors, including terms as Vice President and President. She brings to board service a combination of compassion, strategic thinking, operational discipline, communication skills, and responsible stewardship.

Kendra is eager to contribute her experience in people development, evaluation, fundraising, marketing, and organizational sustainability to advance the mission of FRIENDS of Broomfield and help create lasting opportunities for the people and families it serves.
