Mark Kling
Board Director
Mark Kling is a non-profit consultant with over 20 years experience leading nonprofit organizations as Executive Director or a board member. He is former Executive Director of the Family Resource Center Association (FRCA), an organization supporting 33 Family Resource Centers in Colorado. Recognizing that strong families create resilient communities, FRCA is a leader in the field of family support and strengthening, supporting family resource centers in their work to help families achieve their goals and thrive.
Prior to FRCA, Mark practiced domestic and international law as a corporate lawyer for over 20 years, and also served as adjunct professor at the University of Denver College of Law. He has served on various non-profit boards, including the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger, PlatteForum, and Urban Peak. He is a Fellow of Ascend at the Aspen Institute. Mark is a graduate of the Colorado Institute for Leadership Training, the Executive Director Academy at Metropolitan State College, Leadership Denver at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the Center for Creative Leadership at El Pomar Non-Profit Leadership Program.
